Help? Anyone? Hello?
To any who can help:
Some questions on the law in Singapore:
1) Does a law enforcement officer need reasonable cause before he can ask for your identification?
2) What are the rules on taking photographs of buildings and people in public places? Especially with regard to personal privacy issues?
3) Are there any instances when a law enforcement officer can restrict you from taking pictures and confiscate your pictures other than for national security reasons?
4) Is a court order required for a law enforcement officer or person empowered by the building authorities for you to surrender your photography equipment and film/media storage device? Or even to delete the pictures in their presence?
Would appreciate any help offered and, if possible, even a link to local laws regarding these and related issues.
Thanks!
